Privacy Policy
Effective: August 1, 2026
Last updated: August 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Embodied AI Insights ("we," "us," or "our") processes information when you visit this website or communicate with the publication. Embodied AI Insights is the public operating name responsible for the practices described here.
Scope
This policy applies to the Embodied AI Insights website and direct communications sent to our official email address. It does not govern third-party websites, services, platforms, or applications linked from our pages.
At the effective date, the website does not provide user accounts, comments, payments, a newsletter signup form, or a public contact form. It does not currently run Google AdSense or a separate audience analytics service. If those practices change, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before or when the new processing begins.
Information we process
Depending on how the website is hosted and used, the following information may be processed:
- Basic technical and access data: Internet Protocol address, browser and device type, operating system, requested URL, referring URL, approximate time of access, language, and server diagnostic information. Hosting, content-delivery, security, or network providers may generate this information automatically.
- Search activity on the site: search terms entered into the site's search interface. In the current version, search is performed within the website application and we do not intentionally create a user profile from those terms.
- Communications: your email address, name if supplied, message, attachments, and related correspondence when you contact us.
- Rights-request information: information reasonably necessary to assess a correction, privacy, or copyright request and verify that the requester is authorized to make it.
- Advertising information: if advertising is enabled, advertising providers may process cookie identifiers, device identifiers, IP addresses, browser information, ad interactions, approximate location, and related signals as described below.
Do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for a specific request and we have asked you to provide it.
How we use information
We may use information to provide and secure the website; deliver requested pages; diagnose errors; prevent abuse; understand and respond to correspondence; review corrections, privacy requests, and rights claims; maintain editorial records; comply with legal obligations; establish or defend legal claims; and, if advertising is enabled, display, measure, limit, or personalize advertising where permitted and consented to.
The legal basis for processing depends on the applicable law and context. It may include our legitimate interests in operating a secure editorial publication, performance of a request you make, compliance with a legal obligation, protection of legal rights, or consent where consent is required.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, web beacons, software development kits, and device identifiers. The current site may use strictly necessary browser or network functions required to deliver pages and maintain security. We do not currently use a site-owned account cookie or an advertising cookie.
If analytics, advertising, embedded media, or other optional services are introduced, those services may place or read cookies or use similar technologies. Where applicable law requires it, non-essential technologies will not be used until the user has received appropriate information and made the required choice.
You can restrict or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage or network functions may affect website operation.
Advertising and Google AdSense
Embodied AI Insights may use Google AdSense or another advertising service in the future. When Google advertising services are active, Google and its partners may place and read cookies on your browser or use web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, and similar technologies to collect information as a result of ad serving on this website. That information may be used to provide, personalize, measure, limit, and report advertising; detect fraud and abuse; and improve advertising services, subject to applicable law and the choices available to you.
Google explains this processing in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and its Advertising policies and technologies. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this or other websites where permitted.
We will not provide Google with information that Google could recognize as directly personally identifiable for advertising purposes, and we will not attempt to combine identifiable and non-identifiable advertising information without the notice and consent required by Google's policies and applicable law.
Consent and advertising choices
Before serving Google ads to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we intend to use a Google-certified consent management platform where required and to obtain legally required consent for cookies or local storage and for the collection, sharing, and use of personal data for advertising. Comparable controls will be used in other regions when required.
When advertising is active, available controls may include the site's consent interface, browser settings, Google Ads Settings, and industry opt-out tools. An opt-out generally applies to interest-based personalization and does not necessarily stop all ads, security processing, measurement, or cookies essential to a requested service.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. We may disclose limited information to hosting, infrastructure, security, email, content-delivery, professional advisory, analytics, or advertising providers that process information for their stated services; to authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect rights and safety; in connection with a merger, reorganization, financing, or transfer of the publication; or with your direction or consent.
Service providers have their own legal duties and privacy practices. Advertising providers may act as independent controllers for some processing.
Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was processed, including security, editorial accountability, correspondence, rights management, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary according to the type of record, sensitivity, applicable limitation periods, and whether an unresolved request or legal obligation exists. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer required, where reasonably practicable.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the website and the information processed. No transmission, service, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe information connected with this website has been compromised, contact us promptly.
International processing
The website and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one in which you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we will rely on an approved transfer mechanism or another lawful basis for an international transfer.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to certain processing; withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing; opt out of certain targeted advertising, sharing, or sale as those terms are defined by applicable law; and complain to a competent data-protection authority.
To submit a request, email hello@embodiedaiinsights.com with Privacy request in the subject line. State your jurisdiction and describe the request. We may ask for reasonable verification and may retain a limited record of the request. Rights are subject to legal exceptions, including freedom of expression, public-interest journalism where recognized, legal obligations, and the establishment or defense of claims.
Children's privacy
Embodied AI Insights is a general-audience technology publication and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can assess and take appropriate action.
Third-party links
Articles may link to companies, research repositories, news organizations, video platforms, government sources, and other third parties. We do not control their privacy practices. Review the privacy information provided by a third party before supplying information or using its services.
Changes to this policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the website, service providers, advertising, law, or our practices. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. If a change materially affects how information is used, we will provide additional notice or seek consent when required.
